Gaylon carries on a long tradition of banking that goes back to 1908 with family-owned Farmers Bank & Trust in Blytheville, Arkansas. He has been involved in banking on a variety of levels since 1984. He also maintains interests in the family's Mississippi and Missouri agricultural operations. In 2003, he moved to Tennessee with plans to start Tennessee Bank & Trust because of Middle Tennessee's exceptional business climate.

Steve Bell began his banking career in 1973 with Piggott State Bank in Piggott, Arkansas. He attended Arkansas State University and is a graduate of the Banking School of the South at Louisiana State University. In 1983, he was hired by Farmers Bank & Trust in Blytheville, Arkansas as Vice President of Operations. Over the last 20 years, Steve has held various leadership positions at Farmers Bank and in 1998, he was named President and COO.
In 2003, Steve relocated to Franklin, TN, to begin start-up operations for Tennessee Bank & Trust. In January 2006, he was named Chairman and CEO of the parent company. Steve is the vice chairman of the Williamson County Library Foundation and a 2006 graduate of Leadership Franklin.

A native of Dickson, TN, Dan graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1979, with a BS in Economics. He began his banking career with Nashville City Bank where he went on to serve as Vice President at Commerce Union Bank in their regional Middle Market Lending Area. He graduated from the Stonier School of Banking (University of Pennsylvania) in the mid 80's. In 1988, AmSouth asked Dan to start its new Corporate Loan office in Nashville, where he headed up that division as Senior Vice President until it was folded into AmSouth's new Tennessee charter in 1994 where he served as Head of Commercial Lending.
In 1999, he left banking and bought a small business (Crown Tent and Awning) where he ran the day to day operations until he was asked to return to the banking world in 2005 as Executive Vice President of Tennessee Bank & Trust. He oversaw the renovation and construction of TB&T's new Green Hills site in the former Davis Kidd Booksellers location and has been President of the Nashville market since 2006.

Mr. Story began his banking career with Commerce Union Bank in Nashville in 1974. He left his post as SVP, Manager of the Middle Market Banking Division in 1987 to go into private business. Story is a Nashville native and received his BA and MBA from Vanderbilt University. After leaving the banking business, he and a partner owned a children's store in Atlanta and acquired two similar stores in Nashville. Over the next twenty years, the Children's Shop was twice recognized as the DIVA Award winner by the Atlanta Apparel Market for the best children's specialty store in the southeast.
Also, during this time he served on the board of an industry trade association (BFP) and the Cumberland Bank (now GreenBank). He joined The Bank of Nashville in March 2007 and was responsible for Commercial Banking until joining Tennessee Bank and Trust in March of 2011. Roddy is a member of the Downtown Exchange Club and on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army.

Jim is an Ohio native living in Franklin, TN for the last seven years. He received his BA and MBA from Cal State, Dominquez Hills, CA and a Doctorate EED from Pepperdine University.
Jim joined Tennessee Bank & Trust in 2006 and is a Senior Vice President responsible for Operations, Human Relations and Special Assets. Additionally he manages the Retail area of the bank and is responsible for all of Tennessee Bank and Trust's branch activities and banking operations.
His operational experience includes a five year assignment where he successfully turned around a major facility for Republic Steel in Lorrain, Ohio. Additionally Jim spent 24 years with TRW where he was responsible for key operational posts in both the Aerospace and Automotive Sectors, including roles dealing with International operations, contract oversight and purchasing. Jim's analytical and business skills have been essential throughout his career including a 6 year stint with Litton Industries as well as the U.S. Navy where he was involved in manufacturing, operations, environmental issues and logistics.
Jim is active in the community and serves on the Board of Advisors for Financial Planning Consultants Inc.

Kevin joined Tennessee Bank & Trust in April 2005 from National Bank of Commerce. He manages retail mortgage operations for the bank. Kevin is a native of Bowling Green, KY and graduate of Western Kentucky University. He began his mortgage banking career in 1993 and since moving to the Nashville area in 1997 has experience in all aspects of secondary market mortgage lending.
Kevin, his wife Neeka and their son Kevin Chase are active members of Clearview Baptist Church. Kevin also coaches in the Franklin Baseball Club League. |
